Our Mission: To promote plein air painting in the State of Washington by providing painting, learning, and exhibiting opportunities.

Camaraderie is a wonderful thing. One of the delights of our annual trip to the Methow Valley is the fellowship that develops as we paint, eat and relax together. To work with others who share the same passion and help each other as we progress in our individual journeys is one of the benefits of trips such as this. We made the most of each day, despite dark clouds and occasional rain. Some painted in groups, others went off on their own. Everyone returned in the evening exhausted and happy. The Farmhouse Inn in Winthrop worked well. It provided a central location for more than 20 to share dinners and breakfasts. One of the highlights was a delicious dinner prepared by our multi-talented Gordy Edberg on Friday evening. On Sunday morning we filled the living room with an impressive show of paintings.
